To be honest I got a bit strung out yesterday trying to keep pace with your expansion. I am glad we have that sown up now.

Next time we are on I do want to kill you client state. If you could order them to attack someone to wipe out there army’s that would be fanny-tastic.

Yes you no longer have to match my expansion i think you should head east with me.  You could invade Egypt and head east from there leave North Africa and Spain for a while

I could do that, I might build up an expeditionary force to go with you. As I won’t need to keep them settlements to maintain public order it might be useful to you to have a bit of a shield, could work out nicely.

But what should this force consist of……….hummmmmmmmm…......o wait, ballistas and praetorians!

I will be able to have Rome on tonight but i won't be able to sit in front of it all night but i will be able to keep an eye on it to do my turns.  So if you want to do 10-12 quick turns for a couple of hours then i will switch on around 8

This will enable you to sort yourself out and finish off Gaul i will tell my client to attack someone then you can have them.  I can move my forces across to the east and build up my forces in Macedonia then when we get on properly again we will both be ready to advance what say you?

Sorry for bailing just as we were getting going yesterday but poor Jen has got a wisdom tooth pressing on her sinus and she was in agony so couldn’t really say playing on the game.

I you can snatch a few moments here and there let me know and we will continue. I think we are really about to shift it into high gear.

Somehow I get this feeling that I am about to get boned from multiple angles. With Carthage breaking the aggression pact, the entire UK above me and the pig people starting to rebuild I could really do with another few hours on it to get settled.

Yes I think so. Need to remember what mods we had on. I started a new campaign with Sparta but could not be arsed with province management so I put on a total cheat mod and some other cool unit add-ons.

I thought you would so i left my mods exactly the same as some are not save game compatable

So what is this 300 mod you were talking about is it just a 300 strong unit of bad ass Spartans?

Yea basically. When you have it on ultra there are…..300 of them. They are skinned to look like the guys from the film and they are bad ass. You can only have 1 lot of them but you can just leave them to face an army and they chew up anything. Also they never route and fight to the last man.

I have some other good Spartan mods for you to put on as well. Got some hoplights and swordsmen with over 130 damage each………and no build unit. They cream the royal Spartans in a second.

Just on my own, I was in a bad mood so I just wanted to slaughter lots of people without all the logistical crap.

The mod is great, no squalor, no unit upkeep, all research takes 1 turn. It basically means you can make the entire map into one huge military camp, Just like the Spartans would have done.

Sparta - total cheat. There is a total cheat mod for each faction so make sure you get the correct one.
They work in coop as long as you both have them installed.

Well I think we can agree that the 150 kick some serious posterior. I can’t believe they destroyed at least one either army.

I had a go on my Sparta campaign after you went with it set to ultra where the 150 become the 300 as they should be and set them in to attack a province. As we suspected the kills were much higher and so the kills you were getting yesterday can be doubled at least.
