So the new Total War game is out in 3 weeks and i am very much looking forward to it.

If your are a fan of strategy games it is a must the Total War franchise is truly epic.  If interested check out their site it has all the info about the new game.

I know i will be playing this a lot and if you pre-order you get the first dlc free which i have already done

It has a multiplayer element so you can drop in to a friends campaign and take over the AI army which could be fun.  As well as standard multiplayer battles.

Once i have got the game and registered i will put my details up on this thread if anyone chooses to join me.

But how there are so many options.

You could pound them with artillery, rain arrows on them, hit them in the flank with cavalry or do you just sent in the legionaries?

In the new one there is Naval combat too is nice

This is more my sort of thing so yea should be going for it.

I tend to favour long range so if we were doing a coop mission you might need to cover the ground for me. Unless I can get a couple of harrier GR9’s, then I think we would be fine.

I say just nuke the sight from orbit, it's the only way to be sure.

You are right James it is the only way to be sure but alas in ancient Rome there was very little facility for orbitally launched nuclear weapons.

Neither were there frecking Harrier Jump Jets Greg! Honestly

'Tis a shame, as it may make the game more appealing.

Throw in some Xenos too, then you already have a far better storyline and game than Colonial Marines.
