It’s really not very good. Even when you find the unit you want (which is a pain as when you organise by ‘faction only’ it seems to ignore the request a list all the units for each faction anyway) it doesn’t mention the date constraints or specific province requirements.

I just want a chart, with the unit on one side and a simple list of:

- Military building required.

- Civilian buildings required.

- If you need to have the above building in a particular area to get them.

- Game date the unit is available.

Christ if they gave me the raw info I would just do it for them.

I would LOVE any army of war ducks.

Picture the terror in the enemy eyes as the ducks charge down a corridor in full duck armour, quacking away, but the lack of an echo breaking the enemy mentally before the first peck hits there shin.

It would be suitably epic. Maybe it would look something like this
this

. Or even this
this

.

I love the fact there is a haze of dust caused by so many rampaging flat duck feet!

It was good fun watching Sparta engulf half the world last night. I sort of wish that had actually happened in real life; get a bit of Spartan military civilization in the world……..just without all of the rampant bumhole engineering.

It was good fun i enjoyed it and i did not engulf half the world

I did expand a bit quicker than you but i am sure you will catch up.  To be honest i am expanding a bit quick and soon i am going to have to stop and build up my economy as i need much better troops but need money

To be honest it was a bit of a challenge yesterday, I was on Rome / Mumble with you, playing EVE on the other PC whilst people were chatting to me on that and Jen was on steam chatting away whilst she was working from her house.

Next time I think it will be one thing at a time!

In hindsight I wish we had recorded that last pitch battle with the pike infantry. It was a master class in how it’s done.

Well thank you sir it did go rather well didn't it :-)

I am sure there will be another chance those two armies of pikemen will be heading north once there have resupplied with some heavier artillery and fresh troops

It went well last night we both captured new territory i think soon we should have enough money coming in to get all our armies up to full strength then no one is safe!

So i think the moral of the story last night was don't trade with Sparta i keep cancelling trade then invading he he

Very much so, in some cases you were still shaking hands with the guys agreeing non-aggression pacts whilst you were stabbing them in the face MUHAHAAH.

I am just glad the game will not let you attack me!

Why do you have to move now? We are just getting to the point where we are steamrollering over everyone and now we can’t play for 3 weeks!

Well i still don't have a confirmed moving date so i might be able to get on next week for some more conquering

I hit an imperium level just before we came off last night i can recuit another 3 armies so next time i may take a few turns to build up my forces before i plough on :-)

That was some good Roming last night we really have those Germans on the run now!

So tis off to the east for me it is going to take me 4-5 turns just to get my armies in position.  Still only one turn till i can recruit my top level troops and start filling those 3 armies by my capital :-)

I will try and hop on Wednesday for a bit but can't promise anything.  For the next 5-8 turns i am not going to be doing anything so we might get away with it if i can sort of run it in the back ground fingers crossed

We certainly kicked some. Once I have ploughed through England and Spain I think I will come and join your conquest of the east.

That works for me if you can only do a partial game on Wednesday. I can play EVE if you get tied up doing something. If you do make it on we can just do a lot of quick turns to fortify our position before moving on.
