CV = Capital Vessel
SV = Small Vessel
HV = Hover Vessel
Bur = Our Faction
Crapital Wreckage = Our first messed up crashed CV which we need to rescue
YACK = QUACK :-B
Greg = Left handed Vegan Fag.

Hope this helps.

How did you get on with the landing pad after I left Meg? I asked John to chip in with that today, since we really need somewhere to park these huge CV's.

I obviously managed to rescue John last night with the new Polaris too. It is a monster of a ship. Probably best we use that for our big expeditions (with all of us, like a mothership) since it has everything we could want onboard.

I wasn't on for much longer but i did a bit more

I didn't get on very well last night i didn't finish modding the CV to my likeing then i fell through the world and lost my back pack :-(

Then you told me off for parking!

I will try and finish modding my CV tonight but will not be on for long hopefully i can get it in the build queue so it will finish some point on Friday night

Also found a CV blueprint for the Normandy it is awesome the detail is nuts it must have taken the guy a long time.  It is a bit resource hungry for survival though

OK cool. As for modding your ship, why don't you just get it on the queue and spawned, then you can mod it in-game. Be ready quicker then. Quite why you need growing plots on it though, I don't know.

The parking: There was me, hard at work in the lake building scaffold to hold up the landing pad and I see Mr Dropship flying over-head. I did a "virtual wave" at the fly-by and then saw you speed full-pelt into my parked dropship, sending it rolling and flying through the air. I mean, my parking isn't particularly good either, but that was just mean. I hope you took out insurance, because there could be a big bill waiting for you otherwise ;-)

I saw that Normandy one too - tried it in creative but didn't mention it because it was a bit of a beast and resource hungry, didn't seem practical at all for survival. It did indeed look the nuts though.

Not sure if I will be on tonight, but if I am not then I may be able to get on tomorrow to continue with the launch pad, which is badly needed.

Captain's Log:

Well, quite a few good things happened last night...

Firstly I managed to get quite a bit of work done on the landing pad
landing pad

 (look how far away you can see the bugger now!). It now holds 3 CV's - and I parked yours on there too Meg. Be careful with the USS Yacktown though (Polaris), I found out the hitbox on that thing extends quite a way off the ship and its very easy to knock it when you are nowhere near touching it. Basically, give it a wide birth!

I then set about doing some slight mods to my dropship to make it more practical. I took out some Rocket Launchers and stripped the Gattling Guns out. I replaced one gun at the front with a ?Pulse Lazer? and the remaining ones with thrusters. Net result being it's mroe accurate, more conservative with ammo, has a better replacement for the gattling gun and is a shit-lot more manoeuvrable.

We decided to hop to the moon to get some blue crystals and take out some bases. It was textbook, we were swooping in and taking out the turrets without a scratch. Minimal damage suffered and a lot less drones and bases to worry about near some of the crystal clusters now. The bases didn't have anything useful (at least not so far), but it's still a step in the right direction.

Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, we found a new bug. However, this bug works in our favour. Basically, there is a big crystal formation near one of the bases on the moon. Some of the crystals there don't disappear when you pick them up, meaning you can pick them up infinitely. Myself and John filled our ships and inventory with as many as we could carry and brought them back to our base. In short - we have absolutely no issues with warp fuel now. I slung some in your ship too Meg, simply because a I was running out of places to put the damn stuff!

Good fun on Friday and glad we finally got G-Man on it. He seemed to enjoy what he played so far.

Given how long you are taking to play it, it is possible. Think myself, John and Meg have clocked around 60 hours each so far.

Sounds good, but I will believe it when I see it. ;-) Get that tutorial all done and dusted before Friday's session if you are able.

See you been on creative quite a bit lately Meg, you building a custom CV?

I myself have been working on a scaled down version of the Normandy SR1, for use with survival. It is not finished yet, but has been built on the server (it's in working condition, just needs some tweaking and aesthetic changes). It's basically using the design as a base and modifiying it to better suit Empyrion - so it is by no means a 1:1 or anything. It's just, although there are some awesome Normandy's on the workshop, they are all insanely big and very impractical to use.

The goal with my one was to be able to use the ship as a base when landed on other planets, but also to be combat efficient - hence the combat steel and reinforced cockpit (with additional cockpit redundancy). It also has lots of turrets (atmos and space firing) and some front-facing guns for space fighting too. All the essentials, such as farm, 4 fridges, 4 O2 tanks, O2 station, 3 constructors, clones chamber, medic chamber, 2 food processors, cargo boxes and a partridge in a pair tree.

I was planning on taking this ship to Omicron (or whatever planet you wanted to go to to scavenge) with you Meg.

Yes i have been designing a custom CV i will put up a couple of pictures later

It is a heavy armoured battlecruiser with an artillery turret, 3 forward facing pulse lasers and lots of atmospheric weapons.

There is no garden but everthing else you would need it looks pretty good i am pleased with it but with an outer skin of heavy combat steel it requires 9000 iron ingots ouch!

So lots of mining for me but I may go to that desert planet for that.
