I see, missed the question there. I don’t think 7DTD is all that good now, I think it was just the best we had at the time.

I don’t dislike the game at all, and if I did I would not be playing it. For the reasons I described I can’t be bothered to sink time into building my own ship which removes one element of the game really. But you guys have done all that bit for me, I have a cool ship so I don’t need to build one, so I don’t need to be on all the time modding it and building stuff to mod it.

I can just hop on, load the ship up and join you guys on your endeavours, which I like and suits me just fine. I like that level of involvement at the moment, but this might change.

Lets just have a go at it on Friday and see where the wind takes us.

I see - so basically, SE has set the bar rather high in your eyes and now these types of games will forever be compared to the almighty aforementioned game for comparison.

It's a real shame SE didn't have some of the stuff Empyrion has in it - or the other way around. A mash-up of the two games would please a lot of people I think. SE got dull very quickly for me - there was simply nothing to do. It also appears to have gotten worse as time has gone on, whereas Empyrion is the opposite. I am firmly putting my money on Empyrion at this point anyway.

I think you have hit the nail on the head there. If we could make the two games have some form of offspring we would be laughing.
