Been having a go at this and really liking it.
Managed to work out a few places we have been going wrong, mainly not having a medic or using the standard armour that provides ammo regeneration. 
The auto aim needs to be turned off and you only really need to shoot things that run faster then you.

Well, that's a good start I suppose. Seems all I have ever done in this game is die over and over again, I certainly enjoyed Helldivers more (when it was playable).

To that end, myself and G-Man hopped on for a bit yesterday and found the whole universe unlocked again. Weirdly enough, as I entered the game, the credits rolled and told me I had completed it. It then went right back to day 1 again, with the community fighting over territories again. This system really sucks. The fact that every OTHER player effects what missions you can or can't do means it could completely ruin a play session (like what happened Friday) if you play it at a "bad time of the month". A real shame, since the base game is enjoyable.

I also really like hell divers but the increased tactical element of red solstice is more appealing to me long term.

Well with you on the case perhaps we shall fair better. It would be nice to complete at least one mission.

New one of these in development. Sounds like it could be a little more "accessible" than the original from what I have read. Could be worth keeping an eye on.
