So, with a couple of games I want already out and another two on the horizon, which do I go for?

Shadow of Mordor (released)
Alien Isolation (released)
Dragon Age: Inquisition (November)
Farcry 4 (November)

I really do need some help in choosing! I think the only one to cross off my list (for the time-being) is Alien Isolation - the other 3 I would like to get. So, what do you reckon? What are you guys going to get first?

I got to admit to having that on my "shortlist". I narrowed it down to Dragon Age and Farcry 4, but am having hell trying to decide between the two. They both look awesome.

I made up my mind and pre-ordered Dragon Age, which comes out on the 21st apparently.

Does anyone fancy firing up homeworld 1 at some point and having a bit of a skirmish again some AI?

As for playing the game, I would be happy too. I can't remember much of the original - but I think I liked it. One of the very few RTS's I have ever liked. It may be worth waiting for this new version Greg - rather than pissing about with the old one. It is pre-orderable now, so will no doubt be out very soon anyway. Everything I have read on the matter suggests it will come out this year.

I do recall the thread, it was that which alerted me to the new one. I was checking it out the other day and that is why I decided to get the old one out and have a go as I don’t like number two and can’t be assed to wait for the new one.

Fair enough, but I am not going to be buying the old one again if there is a new one coming out this year - seems like a waste of time and money if you ask me. Unless it can be, ehem, "borrowed", somehow...?

Well if you fancy making an ISO of your CD as a backup and then putting that backup in a safe place, like the FTP, then that would be cool....
