Getting back into the superb Garry's mod recently - they have added tons of stuff since I last played.

As such, I am creating this forum to stick up a link to some of my Workshop files that I have begun adding. These are some of my new and old contraptions that have been saved with the new Duplicator and published.

Turns out you can even share stuff between people on your Steam friends list now too - sweeeeeet!

Clicky me for Jimbobslimbob's Workshop uploads!

So what did you think of 'ol Garry's Mod then Greg? I told you they had added loads of new stuff. Was rather good getting to play that with someone else again.

Let's hope your mic arrives so we don't have to type our way through conversation though as that is a nightmare.

It was proper bo Greg. The mic will arrive on Thursday so that should not be a problem.
I really liked the flying vehicles, they are going to be a laugh for the single player.

Yeah the old hoverballs are rather shiny. I just love the fact you can save your contraptions now! You can make flyable planes without them though - it's just very difficult

Wicked, we should make some cars from scratch and do the highway level, or perhaps some sort of flying desk……

Argh the mod of Gary yea never really got into this but i have the game now so i must find the time to get into it as it does look good.

The problem is i think i have only played Gary's mod drunk and it is not a game to be played drunk.

Yes i must find the time to play i just have so many games to play at the moment and so little time :-)

I personally thought my flying bath was a winner :-) And your flying desk with portable TV was genius ;-)

It's a fine game to play drunk, but you weren't exactly building anything - rather destroying things, killing me and spawning thousands of barrels. :-) Not that it was not fun, just a bit pointless.

I think once you have the basics sorted it is good to play drunk. I think I still need a little play around with it today to get fully reacquainted with the various ad-options.
I liked the idea of the flying house, I think we can do better though.
Are there any add ones other than the horde thing?

There are literally thousands of add-ons for it. Check the Steam Workshop and you can add them to the game in a click of the mouse (see my first 2 posts in this thread for info) or click this link to have a wee look now. Remember you can also access the workshop from in-game.

Yes it's a fair point i just wanted to see you computer fail over :-)

Next time i play it i will endeavour to play it properly and learn the basics as i do like the idea of doing the highway level in a flying desk or a floating house

FYI: If you are playing Garry's Mod multiplayer, the host will need to port forward ports 27000 to 27020.

I found that out last night the hard way. God only knows why - that is the first Steam game I have played in a long time that requires that kind of treatment.

Had another quick go yesterday to get the hang of the ad-options. I had a gay old time floating through level one on my patented flying table.

Yeah it's all sorted and working now - we should be able to just hop in. Be much better when you got your mic too, as typing is so old-school ;-)
