So I simply could not wait any longer to buy this game and managed to pick it up fairly cheap (GOTY Edition).

I have heard so many good things about it and have wanted it since it came out. Since Farcry 3 has bored me to death (haven't completed it yet and haven't even played it in over a week) I simply could not resist.

And boy o boy is it good! Let me get my one and only complaint out of the way before I tell you how awesome it is. If like me, you have never played its predecessor then it is a steep learning curve to get used to the controls and the many gadgets you start with. It took me a good few hours to even work out how to use the combat mechanics properly. Once you do however, the game becomes so damn brilliant I am simply lost for words.

It is not an easy game to master but the sheer diversity of options available to you is astounding. It really does feel like you are Batman... with an aresonal of gadgets and abilities at your disposal.

Think of Assassins Creed mixed with Just Cause and you will be on the right tracks as to how this game plays. However it is much more than both those games put together.

You have a multitude of ways to take out opponents and tactics and planning play a big part in this. Unarmed goons can be taken out in hand to hand combat but guns are lethal and require you to plan your attack accordingly.

I am only a few hours into the game but I am very impressed and would reccommend this to everyone. I like it so much that I am tempted to go out and buy the previous game after I am done with this one.

Maximus: Take a look at the reviews if you are thinking of getting it - I don't think you will find a single bad one! And with reason - It's totally frelling amazing and I think you would love it. In short: BUY IT!
