So has anyone got Mass Effect 3 and if you have what is it like?

I have Mass Effect 1 + 2 and really enjoyed them both (2 was my favourite)and was looking forward to the new one but I have read some very bad reviews about it which has made me hesitate buying it.

Some say there is a problem importing your character from the previous 2 games and others have said the ending is shit.

Also that the game lacks depth and the graphics are not all that.

If this is all true then it is a real shame as Mass Effect is an amazing game. So any thoughts?

I've been a big fan of it. I've heard of problems with the ME2 char upload on either PS3 or PC but can't remember which. Worked fine on Xbox though.

Not reached the ending yet to see what the big fuss has been with that. Going to work on that soon though to get it done before they go changing it as I've heard that they are going to do that.

Played it, loved it. There's also an issue with the PC character import, but it's only your appearance that doesn't come across, all your decisions from the previous games get carried over fine. It's a superb game from beginning to end, and contained a moment that actually made me feel like a genuinely horrible person. I've always played my Shepard as full renegade, happy to personally kill a thousand to save a million type of guy, but that one moment actually made me seriously consider not being a dick (which has never happened before, in any game). You'll know it when you get there. As for the ending, I really liked it, but I think I interpreted it differently to most of the strong critics, so a lot of the points just don't wash with my version of what happened.
