...speaking of which, I wonder if it's time to fire this bad-boy up again (starting fresh). Although I somehow doubt we will see Greg on there though. Perhaps we should limit "single" playtime on it and only play when all of us are on or something? Just a suggestion.

Lots of changes looks good i vote put the server back up with a fresh start but don't limit it just ban John.

It will probably only be me and you who play it anyway

This is true. I was kind of hoping that a fresh start would encourage Greg and Dyson to play. I would imagine Dyson would, but Greg is another story.

So whats the chances of you putting the server but up there is lots of new stuff i would like to try.

I don't mind starting from scratch although a little kick start would be nice?

Can do if we are done with Avorion for the time being. Problem is, we will be up shit creek with Greg and Dyson if we start without them again (actually, you can probably count me in that too since I am probably not going to be playing it yet).

It's a tricky one (much like the tricky little swine), since I am willing to bet that even when we do start playing "proper" again, that G-Man and Greg will only play on Friday's and thus end up right back at square one again - with Me and you doing all the hard work and them popping on with everything given to them and nothing to do. The potential solution to that is not having the server on until we all play and treat it kind of like we do with Wildlands and the like. I dunno really - what do you reckon?

Well with Avorion, which i really like by the way you and me are quite a bit ahead in terms of ship.  Greg and Dyson are going to need much bigger ships before we progress much further and also there is the issue with the latest patch which i am sure they will fix but atm our saves don't work?

Greg and Dyson never seemed hugely impressed by Empyrion i might be wrong?  There are lots of cool new things i would like to check out but many don't work in creative.  If you do start it up and I build a base we can always start somewhere else on the planet if all of us go on?

This is true indeed. Apparently, where the patch is concerned, it isn't actually on the public branch yet so we can continue playing as far as I know. I believe they will put it in the public branch when they have implemented this backwards compatibility.

I think Dyson liked it - it was Greg who didn't.

We could, true, but if that were to happen I would reset the world again when Greg and Dyson join up so we are all on the same page, I think.
