Has anyone played this? I can get it for £10 on that code site thing and wondered if the coop aspect was any good?

Not played it, but looked into it when it came out and it wasn't very well received so I kinda didn't bother mentioning it. There are so many games out there with this premise - and better ones too (apparently).

Dead Island, Dying Light, 7 Days to Die, How to Survive, Killing Floor 2, H1Z1 - to name a few - although H1Z1 is also supposedly not all that.

Having a go at dead island rip tide at the moment, it was only £3 and got a fair few hours out of it so far. Even if Dead Rising 3 is not fantastic, it might be worth a tenner just for some entertainment value.

Never even heard of H1Z1.

Yeah I saw you and Jen had been giving that a go. I enjoyed my time with the original, although I much preferred co-op to single-player - it didn't really hold much interest as a single player game - kind of the same as Dying Light I suppose. Thing is with Dead Island and Dying Light is it was all the same "go here, fetch this" type quests - mind-numbingly boring stuff.

You may want to check out H1Z1 as well - since it's meant to be similar to Dead Rising 3 - and both of them get the same kind of reviews (that's to say, not good reviews).

As for me - like I said previously, I have spent a lot of cash this last month (on games and the man trip), so shan't be buying any new games for a while - not to mention that Sword Coast Legends will (hopefully) occupy my time for a while as well. I had kinda hoped - and thought you would - be onboard for that to be honest - shooters do tend to get quite samey after a while - and this was a nice departure from the likes of Payday, Left 4 Dead, Killing Floor and all the other FPS's we play. Hey-ho.
