Every so often I have an itch that requires scratching. A sudden urge to play an old game that I can never seem to put down for too long. That/those game(s) are Neverwinter Nights 1 and 2. Games I have spent literally thousands of hours playing and always seem to come back for more. This is helped greatly by the immense amount of additional content available for them - campaigns, maps, modules that seem to be never-ending. It's a game that keeps giving. A game that has (in my opinion) never once been bettered in the years since its release. Sure, it has its issues but it stands as a monumental gaming achievement in a market saturated by lesser attempts.

Anyway, I am posting this thread up to ask a question. I feel I may be barking up the wrong tree with this (hence the thread name), but thought it still best to make the proposal here before I seek other channels. So, there is this mod (well, complete game mod) called Wulverheim. It's a massive open-worlded module with guilds, quests, dungeons and the like - akin to Skyrim. I am looking for a few people to play it with and thought I would ask if any of you guys were interested in it. We could make it into a one-evening a week thing or whatever, depending on schedules.

So, is this something you would be interested in? I would appreciate an answer one way or the other. TCT.

I would say possibly, I might need to give the game a go first. The issue is have is time at the moment. The only real time I have allotted for games is Friday nights, outside of that I am doing something almost every day.

Well that is certainly a more positive answer than I was expecting. So shall I hold off and wait for you two or go ahead and get some others onboard? I would have thought a party of 3-6 would be best, so I can still get a couple of others even if you are interested.

Also, If I may ask Greg, why are you so knackered for time of late?

Can you get the game or a demo from steam or is it a bit old school for that?

And with regards to the being knackered Jeg, not a lot is going my way of late and it gets a bit wearing after a while. All good fun though.

I am unsure about a demo but it is highly doubtful. As far as buying it - It used to be on Steam but I think it's been pulled due to licensing issues or something. You can still get it from here though. No doubt eBay or Amazon are another safe bet.

Doesn't sound good, what's happened then, if you don't mind my asking?

Just being melodramatic to be honest Jeg, nothing to write home about.
