Blimey, everyone is dying in this game.

Let's see... Grunt kamikazee'd himself to save me, Mordin did pretty much the same thing, Thane got stabbed and Legion got "uploaded". If Miranda dies I will not be happy.

Awesome games. Yeah the ending(s) wasn't all that but the games were still good.

Started playing through the Mass Effect's again and while I was doing a litte browsing I came across this extremely interesting read. Take 10 minutes and read the thing, it's surprising. May be a complete pile of horse shit, but then again, maybe not. I suppose we will have to wait for Mass Effect 4 to know for sure...

Just an FYI for you Meg, here is some of the DLC that you have to "buy" separately for ME2 and that is not included in other packs. Each of the ones I mention below is about 1-2 hours playtime. There is a lot more DLC, but I only listed the more important ones (that I have played). As I said, I do have all of these ;-)

Arrival
Deals with slowing down Reaper progress by destroying the Alpha Relay, and in the process of which destroys an entire Batarian system. This is the reason you had been grounded at the start of Mass Effect 3 - for killing thousands upon thousands of lives and causing a war with the Batarians.

Quite how this one was made as DLC eludes me, since it is very important to the main story.

Lair of The Shadow Broker
Deals with teaming up with Liara (who, bar this DLC is pretty much ignored in ME2). She joins your party and you go in search of the Shadow Broker (who she actually IS in the 3rd game).

Really good one this, and the change in Liara makes much more sense after playing this. It is also nice to have her back as a companion. Features some kick-ass missions, including a car chase and a base powered by lightning.

Kasumi: Stolen Memory
This one gives you access to a new companion for your party: Kasumi the thief. She has some really cool abilities and I have found myself keeping her in my party at all times. She has a recruitment mission, then a loyalty mission (just like all the other party members). The loyalty mission is really fun and involves breaking into a rich man's "bank". He has a south African accent - and it's worth it purely for that, he is well funny.

Thoroughly enjoyed this one - and she is possibly one of the best party members too.

Overlord
Deals with a rogue VI that has taken over an entire facility and threatens everything. The VI has been able to control Geth (like Saren did) and become dangerous.

This one gives you access to a vehicle and allows you to explore the planet, much like the Mako in the first game. The Firewalker DLC also gives you shit loads of planets you can go to and do additional missions with this vehicle.
