I don't want to get my (or anyone elses) hopes up after the Colonial Marines disaster, but there is apparently a new game coming out later this year. Check out this link for the trailer.

Looks really good, but I will be waiting for it to come out before getting it. Also as it is a CA game it will be unplayable for 3 months whilst they patch it.

I had no intention of doing any pre-ordering / collectors edition crap on it. I learnt my lesson last time. Still, worth keeping an eye on. After all the crap surrounding A:CM, they really cannot afford to get this one wrong!

It does. I am keeping my fingers crossed. I am not, however, going to pre-purchase it. We all know why. Let's hope the reviews are honest when it comes out...

This game comes out tomorrow and so there are a few critic reviews out already. It seems to be receiving generally good reviews. The bad things I have read about it include the fact that it is too long - and feels very repetitive towards the last third of the game. I suppose we will have to see what the players make of it...

As more and more reviews pour in, it's looking overwhelmingly positive for Alien Isolation. Everywhere I look it's good things. The only negative things I ever hear about it are related to the overly-long, repetitiveness of the game. Given that most reviewers slate games for being too short, I am not entirely sure this "negative" is even a negative.

Anyhoo, just thought I would give you the heads up.

I look forward to hearing what you have to say about it. If you have ever played Outlast, it's meant to be similar to that (I picked up that one for a couple of quid on a Steam sale). Have not played it much yet as it scared the shit out of me.

It is good so far, but I have only played two hours so a bit early to give a full opinion really. I will let you know when I play some more.

This is on sale until 30th March with 75% off the game and all DLC. Worth a punt? Game is £7.99 and Season Pass is an additional £9.99. What you reckon?

EDIT: Come to think of it, Pillars of Eternity is out - I would probably rather spend my money on that, but still a good deal if anyone is interested.
