Well I tried this last night and was instantly familier with this brilliant old game. Not much seems to have altered since we last played, except they have added a new expansion to it. Gameplay and graphics-wise it is the same as I remember. It took me a while to realise that the game required restarting to wack the graphics up to max, but once I did it looked considerably better than I first realised.

I must admit to rather enjoying myself. It is a real shame the company went under when they did. Given that this is now free to play I urge you to check it out again if you can. I already feel myself becoming addicted again :-)

Interested? Download the hefty 5.6gb client and sign up from here.

It's very much like Diablo but first/third person. An online game where you can play as an FPS type class like the Marksman, a hack 'n slash Blademaster etc.

It's set in London, has random levels, works well for lan/party play and is rather addictive.

Think along the lines of Borderlands 2 and you will be close. BL2 clearly stole a lot from this game and it shows.

Check out the game for yourself - it is free afterall. If you don't like it just uninstall it.

I have heard that can be the case. Though typically I like to be as unprepared as possible in preparation of the consequences that a lack of preparation brings bur?

Left it running all night and installed this morning. I haven’t started it up yet so undoubtedly it won’t work but nothing new there I suppose.

I don’t mind giving it a go. Like I said earlier, as long as the introduction is not as brutal as gregs into to G-mod we should be ok.

Yeah you will be fine. It's not difficult to understand. It is quite similar to Borderlands in that respect. Just don't forget to sign up for an account from that site or you won't be able to log in!

I recall seeing you play it (and confused it with Diablo 3.0 for some reason) and thinking it looked good. Hell its free so cant go wrong really.Could also be convinced to do a bit of L4D should the situation arise. Jen might join in with that if you chaps were not adverse to such things.
