I am so glad it's back on again, loving it already.

We got 'ol John "you know nothing" Snow's arch-nemesis back at Castle Black - who wanted to see him hang.

Tyrion (who is obviously gonna get in some deep shit with Shae) struggling to juggle his two women.

We got that new guy from Dawn (what's his name Meg?), who looks like is going to be quite interesting.

We got poor Jaime being belittled, disowned and generally trodden on by everyone (including his cock-blocking sister).

And we have Arya - who is moving closer and closer to becoming a full-blown assassin (and she got Needle back!).

Can't wait for more :-)

Yes enjoyed last night episode was very good and i think it touched on most of the characters i think you are going to enjoy this series

The guy from Dorne is Prince Oberyn Martell aka Red Viper of Dorne yes he kicks ass

Get little Arya stabbing that guy in the throat and smiling as she does it yes she is on her way now and she seems to like hanging out with the hound but he is a beast.  That bit in the tavern in the book there is only 3 of them but he did about 6 of them!

Ah Oberyn was his name? They did mention it but I forgot it. Where is Dorne? Is it in Westeros or across the sea? I don't recall ever seeing it yet (although it had been mentioned). He does not seem to like the Lannisters at all, does he?

As for Arya, I am interested to see what happens with her, and yes the hound is cool, he slaughters the lot of them. Where exactly does his loyalties lie now though? He abandoned Joffre and seems to be just looking for someone to sell Arya to for a bit of green... looks like he is going all sell-sword on us (like Bron was before he met Tyrian).

Dorne is the southern tip of Westeros further south than High Garden and Storms End you should be seeing a fair bit of Dorne this series.  It is mainly desert with most people near the coast or in the Mountains on its northern boarder

The Viper is pissed at the Lanisters because when Tywin sacked Kings Landing all the Targaryns were killed including Ragers children and his wife.  His wife was the Vipers sister his nephew and neice had their heads smashed against there bedroom wall and his sister was raped and spit in half by the mountain.  The Viper believes this was done under the direct orders of Tywin and not just the mountain getting carried away.

The Hound hasn't gone full sellsword and is still trying to keep to his code of honor.  The book goes into this a bit more basically he feels guilty that he didn't save Sansa from Kings landing and Joffrey.  Now he has found Arya he is going to make damn sure she gets safely to whatever family she has left and he will destroy anything that stands in his way its sort his quest for redemption plus he will get some cash he hopes

Ahh, I see. So why the hell did they invite him to Joffre's wedding if there is so much bad blood between them? Surely that's asking for trouble. Ain't seen much of the Mountain recently, although he is just a nutcase anyway - at least the Hound as a moral code.

Arya seems to be warming up to the Hound, even though she initially wanted him dead for killing her Butchers Boy friend. And as for Sansa, I don't know why he feels guilty - it was her stupid fault that she didn't want to leave Kings Landing in the first place. Sansa is just a quivering sheep - she needs to grow a pair.

It was her fault yes but the Hound feels he should have forced her to leave as she didn't understand and soon after he left Sansa learnt the truth about Jofrey and wished she had left with him

They invited the Vipers brother to the wedding who is the ruling Prince and far more in control and timid but he is ill so the Viper went in his place before he could be stopped by his brother

The Lanisters wanted to rub Dornes face in it and remind them they are in charge but they didn't expect the Viper to turn up they wanted the other brother.  The Viper is a famous and brutal warrior with a very fast temper as the little lion in the brothel found out, he is out for blood and revenge any Lanister will do :-)

My money is on Olenna (Tyrian got the wine from her table), Sansa (cup went under the table and she picked it up), or whoever made the cake. Am I close (don't actually tell me who did it though)?

Yes you are close

I liked the little exchange between Oberyn and Tywin very good as for poor old Theon you almost feel sorry for him don't you

Ah, yes, "Reek". He is a bit worse for wear ain't he?

Tyrian is definitely in some deep shit, although surely they know he would not be so stupid as to poison Joffre like that. I know Cercei doesn't like him, but come on - she would want justice, she would want the TRUE killer punished.

Me and Emma re-watched the ending of Monday's episode last night. I have come to the conclusion that it was Sansa. My reasons:

1. That fat jester knight gave her a mysterious necklace in the previous episode - he then tells Sansa "We have to leave, now!", as soon as Joffree starts choking. Poison much?
2. Sansa is the only person other than Tyrian and Joffree to touch the cup. She even dips her finger in it when she picks it up.
3. She looks worried, and even asks Tyrian if they can leave after he gave Joffre the cup.
4. Motivation. Sansa is the only one with no regrets. Let me elaborate here on the other suspects:

Tywin - wants them married to join the houses. Little motivation here.
Olenna- Same as above, even though she knows what Joffre is like. However, she is more likely than Tywin - to "protect" her daughter.
Margerie - Wants to be queen. Knows she has to put up with Joffre, and has accepted that. Unlikely candidate.
Tyrian - No way. He is not that stupid.
Sansa - Revenge. All the crap Joffre has put her and her family through. She hates him. I reckon, she now thinks that Joffre will attack her through Tyrian as well, making her a bigger target.

So, there you go. That's my 2 cents :-)

Do we find out who did it soon, or is it a long wait?

In the books you have to wait about half the book i think but the series is different Two of the books are in the same time just following different characters so it is hard to say you do find out fairly quickly but it is never common knowledge i will say no more

Cool, TCT for that. It's already shaping up to be another blinding series. Mind you, none of them have been bad. It is truly a masterpiece.

Well well well, I was right on both counts - Sansa (unwittingly) and Olenna (along with Littlefinger). I am interested to see where Jaime's story leads in this series. And.... as for Jon Snow - he is in deep trouble ain't he? Me and Emma speculated that the following people could die this season (and he was one of them):

Jon Snow (and possibly all 'his men')
Jaime
Jora (Warg with Bran - is that his name?)

Yes you were correct Sansa smuggles in the poison unwittingly and Olenna drops it in Joffreys drink but it was little finger again he is a tricky little swine

As for what happened at Crasters keep i need to check the book i think they changed it.  In the book Bran never goes to Crasters and i don't remember Jon and some men going North of the Wall again and Ghost was never caged

Its good there are some changes makes it more interesting for me good one last night though

Ah I see, so even you don't know what's coming there then. Yup, another good one. Thorne really has got a chip on his shoulder for poor 'ol Jon. Interesting to see Locke up at the wall too - what is that all about!!??

I tell you what though, I hope Dany gets her arse in gear and starts heading West soon - cause her storyline is getting a little to familiar. Every week it's "go somewhere, free slaves"... she is meant to be heading to Kings Landing to get the throne!! Surely she has enough men by now.
